About the Role:
Techner is seeking experienced Field Integration Engineers with strong Nokia and Ericsson backgrounds to support live wireless network environments onsite in Northern California. These roles involve field-level work including Baseband integration and alarm migration. Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders. Experience with AT&T projects will be considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Baseband integration for Nokia and Ericsson network elements, including new node additions, expansions, and upgrades.
- Execute alarm migration activities, ensuring accurate mapping, verification, and clearance in OSS systems.
- Configure, test, and validate RAN and transmission elements during integration phases.
- Conduct end-to-end health checks and troubleshoot integration issues, minimising downtime and service impact.
- Collaborate with network operation centres (NOC) and field teams to ensure timely issue resolution and quality delivery.
- Generate and maintain integration documentation, including activity reports, test results, and acceptance sign-offs.
- Support software/hardware upgrades and new feature activations across vendor platforms.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards during field operations.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in wireless networks
- Strong Nokia and Ericsson background in integration, troubleshooting, and network operations
- Solid understanding of site configuration, Baseband integration, alarm migration, network diagnostics, and performance monitoring
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Prior experience with AT&T projects will be considered an advantage
- Must be available for full-time onsite work in Northern California
- Experience with system management interfaces and operations support tools
