About the Role:

Techner is seeking experienced Hub Integration Engineers with strong hands-on Nokia transport and OSS background to support centralized hub site onboarding in live wireless networks. Candidates must have hands-on Nokia experience within the past 2 years and must be US Citizens or Green Card holders. Prior experience working on Verizon hub sites is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and validate hub sites, including transport turn-up and router provisioning (Nokia 7750, IXR).
  • Coordinate IP and VLAN setup, BGP/OSPF sessions, and sync configuration.
  • Perform alarm handling and diagnostics during integration (e.g., sync loss, TRS port issues).
  • Execute MOPs and post-integration health checks using OSS tools like NetAct and CM Operation Manager.
  • Use toolkits such as Emil, UTF, and 5G tools to support fault tracing and performance verification.
  • Collaborate with transport and core teams to align on routing, timing, and OAM reachability.
  • Document activities and update OSS systems post-onboarding.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in wireless network integration, with recent focus on hub or transport sites.
  • Must have hands-on Nokia experience within the past 2 years.
  • Deep understanding of IP transport, router provisioning, and sync distribution in hub environments.
  • Proficiency with Nokia OSS platforms and troubleshooting tools (NetAct, CM tools, 7750/IXR config).
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Prior experience on Verizon hub projects is required.
  • Able to work full-time remotely within the USA.
